Favorite Moment from Chinatown
I grew up coming to Chinatown every weekend for church, but it wasn't until I got older and moved into the neighborhood myself that I learned more about the history of Chinatown. Chinatown has had a history of unique struggles and persistence that many Asian Americans have experienced, but sometimes don't know how to express outwardly. The "History of Chinatown" mural represents to me the shared bond that makes Chinatown a common ground for Asian Americans to connect with their heritage and experiences.
