Favorite Hidden Gem from Fairmount
One of my favorite murals is [in Fairmount]. While I should know who it is by I have never found out. The mural depicts a steam train in black and white with the station in the background. In the foreground you see bushes with brightly colored flowers that perfectly frame the bottom of the piece. The juxtapose of the black and white with the vibrant color brought by the flowers. It took me a long time to realize these flowers were not real! They are so lifelike. I love seeing this piece every time I walk by.
